Good behavior is hard to specify.
Your experts recognize the right answer, but the important distinctions and exceptions are missing from the AI’s instructions or training material.
Forward Alignment · Work with our team
Work directly with the people building Teammately. A Forward Alignment Scientist works with your AI team and domain experts to define good behavior, build useful benchmarks, and test changes your team can keep improving.
A useful place to start
Your experts recognize the right answer, but the important distinctions and exceptions are missing from the AI’s instructions or training material.
A score leaves your team uncertain about which situations it represents and whether a change will help in the conditions your business cares about.
Prompt, harness, or model changes haven’t resolved a behavior. You need to understand the missing judgment and test an intervention.
Starting a new initiative? Bring the decision your AI needs to make and the expertise you already have. A production system or finished benchmark is not required.
Forward Alignment Scientist
The scientist separates unclear standards and coverage gaps from system failures, designs a fair experiment, and interprets what the evidence supports.
Teammately’s agents prepare expert reviews, adapt follow-up questions, propose criteria, construct cases, and run supported experiments and evaluations.
Explore Lemon’s capabilitiesDomain experts contribute judgment and review its interpretation. Your AI team directs the work; your organization approves standards and implementation changes.
How we work together
Teammately guides
Choose a development question and initial coverage. Agents prepare expert contributions; your experts review the proposed standards.
We work together
Build benchmark cases, investigate a change, and compare it with the baseline. The scientist interprets the evidence with your team.
Your team leads
Your team updates a standard, directs the relevant cases and assessment, and chooses what to adopt. We assess this workflow at the agreed checkpoint.
Any remaining assistance after the checkpoint has an explicit scope.
Planning the work
Send a few sentences about what you are building and what needs to improve. We’ll arrange a conversation about a useful scope.
A development question and the materials you already have: examples, policies, an existing benchmark, or a harness. For a new initiative, start with the intended behavior and the experts who understand it.
An AI engineering counterpart, domain experts for the relevant judgments, and an owner who can approve standards and adoption. We scope expert contribution and review time before you allocate it; these responsibilities can belong to different people.
Compare a documented baseline and candidate under comparable conditions, using separate assessment cases where appropriate. Examine important situations, regressions, and unresolved judgments. Record expert time, engineering effort, and compute separately, including unsuccessful experiments. A specific gain is not guaranteed.
Through remote working sessions and targeted onsite collaboration where useful. Before work starts, the proposal sets out participation, working access, a start window, delivery capacity, and the checkpoint for your team to lead an iteration.
Published platform pricing covers subscriptions and metered capabilities. Your Forward Alignment proposal specifies the scientific assistance, platform access, usage allowances, and any external inference or training compute covered. Training execution is scoped separately. Commercial terms are confirmed before work begins.
Yes. Forward Alignment is optional. Your team can use the platform directly and retain ownership of its expertise, standards, benchmarks, and development assets.
Customer-content access requires authorization. Research, publication, and customer stories require a separate agreement. See our Trust Center for the policies and controls.
