# Connect Bitbucket Cloud Repositories

## Prerequisites

Use a Bitbucket Cloud account with access to the intended repositories. Discovery can include repositories from multiple workspaces accessible to that account.

## Authorize and discover

1. Open **Admin → Integrations → Bitbucket** and connect the intended account.
2. Review repository/account access on Bitbucket's authorization screen.
3. Return to Teammately and inspect discovered repositories.
4. Use **Sync repositories** after provider access changes.

## Bind and verify

In Project **Reference Materials**, add the Git connection and select the repository/ref. Confirm the repository owner/workspace as well as its name. Inspect indexing state and content; connection authorization does not automatically bind every repository to a Project.

## Recover access

Check Bitbucket application authorization and workspace/repository membership for missing or denied repositories. Correct provider access, reconnect if authorization was revoked, and sync. A successful connection does not by itself establish completed Project indexing.
